DotNetNuke IT History
I began my IT career in 1999 when I co-founded a web development company with my husband and fellow DotNetNuker Philip Beadle. After discovering the fledgling IBuySpy Portal application (which later evolved to become DotNetNuke) we refocused our company to work exclusively in the DotNetNuke space. The success of this stategy lead to our company being sold in 2005.
In 2002 I produced a DotNetNuke Help Manual for my clients and following interest from the DotNetNuke community I published the manual in a bid to expose DotNetNuke to a wider audience.
The DotNetNuke User Manual has since evolved from a brief 50 page document to an in depth manual totalling nearly 1000 pages. This documentation is viewable online at DNN Online Help (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/About/DotNetNukeOnlineHelp/tabid/787/Default.aspx).
Since 2008 I have been working directly for DNN Corp providing documentation services, as well as DNN site maintenance for a small group of clients.
