Today Lorraine and I went for a nice long walk around our cool, city Melbourne. I took a bunch of pictures while we were walking so you can get an idea of where we went and why it is such a nice walk.

These are the bells of Birrarung Marr with the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the background. These bells play every hour or so and have various arrangements depending on the time.

This is the view of Federation Square with Saint Paul's Cathedral in the back ground taken from Birrarung Marr park.

This a shot of the new Eureka Tower, its the tallest residential building in Australia I think. 88 stories. I took this shot cross the Yarra River with the Arts Centre on the left to show the location. Our friend Jason lives there!

This is a pathway across the new parkland area. I liked the way it looks like it transports you all the way in to the heart of the city.

The yellow building in the middle is Flinders Street Station. This is a classic view of Melbourne in the winter.

This is a new climbing wall that has been built under the freeway. I thought it was a good example of "Urban Reclamation".
That brings us full circle back to Richmond and where we live.
